A man is killed in a crash on Lake Shore Drive near Kenwood on the South Side.
The 29-year-old was driving north at 10:24 pm. At Complex 4500 of South Lake Shore Drive when he lost control and ran into a tree, according to Chicago Police.
Police said he sustained a head wound and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died shortly thereafter. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has not disclosed details of the death.
