The motive behind the fatal shooting in Escambia Province revealed

Pensacola, Fl

A search is underway for two masked gunmen, who authorities say killed a man during an attempt to rob theft in the province of Escambia. The victim, now known as Gregory Bradley, was shot and killed at a home on 300th Street from Crescent Drive.

Major Andrew Hobbs told Channel 3 news that two masked men showed up at the house, robbed Bradley, tried to force him into a house and then shot him.

The two suspects are said to be black men.

Amy Baker, who says she grew up with Bradley, says she doesn’t know exactly how things happened or who was behind the trigger, but she wants justice for her friend.

“Greg was a good person who would help you if he could. He was a good person,” Baker said. “You can run but you cannot hide because the karma will make you have what is going on around you.”

Investigators say this wasn’t a random act, and they believe Bradley knew the gunmen.

The mayor’s office was unable to provide further information about the investigation.

We will continue to update this evolving story.
