Philadelphia Police are investigating a murder in the Kensington Department of the city after an unresponsive man was found on the sidewalk. Police say the man was found in 3300 Block of Braddock Street, around 1am.
The victim, who is believed to be in his late 30s or early forties, was bleeding profusely. Medics declared his death at the scene.
Authorities say it is unclear how he died.
Initially, the paramedics thought this might be a stabbing victim with an apparent large tear in his arm. There is also a lot of blood coming from his neck, face, and chest area,”Chief Inspector of Philadelphia Police. Scott Small said.
Police said they found several surveillance cameras facing the crime scene. They are working on retrieving the footage to gather more information.
