The Summit County medical examiner and Akron Police Department are investigating the death of a 22-year-old woman.
Around 5 p.m. Akron police received a call for a corpse found near train tracks by someone walking his dog on Maryland Ave and 5th St SW.
According to the forensic office, officers found the woman apparently with a bullet.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman has not been identified.
This marks the fourth murder in the city in 5 days.
Last night, two men were killed in a separate shooting.
