The man killed in a head-on collision in Southwest Bakersfield has been identified as 30-year-old Michael Paul Brashear, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office. KCSO says Brashear died at the scene of his wounds.
Police said a man was killed in a head-on collision on Berkshire Road in southwestern Bakersfield.
The collision happened shortly before 2:30 pm. At block 3100 of Berkshire Road near Greenland Road. The collision involved a Dodge truck and a silver sedan.
Police said the truck and car collided head-on on Berkshire Road, killing the driver. The truck driver was taken to a nearby hospital.
Cause of collision is under investigation.
Traffic was closed westward on Berkshire Road on Greenland Road to Investigation.
