Police said Memphis police responded to a call that “hit a pedestrian,” which was later revealed to be a two-car crash.
According to police, the accident occurred on W. Brooks Road.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene and a child was transferred to Le Bonheur in a non-critical condition.
No suspect was given or vehicle described.
