A 29-year-old Pensacola man was killed after a car collided with his motorcycle on Navi Boulevard, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
A sedan driven by a 23-year-old Pensacola man was stopped at the stop on Patton Drive and North Navy Boulevard facing east at approximately 1:49 pm. The motorcycle was heading south on North Navi Boulevard in the outer lane that approaches Patton Drive.
The sedan began to travel east at the Navy Junction, and failed to give right-of-way to motorcycles. As a result, the front of the motorcycle hit the front left portion of the sedan.
The sedan reached its final rest at the naval junction facing east, while the motorcycle reached its final rest in the outer lane of the navy facing east. The motorbike driver was taken to the Baptist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The charges are pending further investigation.
