Authorities said a 10-year-old boy in Florida was not injured after hiding in the bathroom, while a thief attacked three members of his family with a baseball bat, killing two of them in a terrifying invasion of the house, authorities said.

It all started when the suspect Ezekiel Emmanuel Hopkins entered the walled victims’ community and attempted to steal their car, authorities said to local media.
