The Florida Department of Health has reported that four other people have died in Escambia County due to COVID-19.
The death brings the number of deaths in the province of escombia to 94, including six who are not residents of the province. The deaths included a 65-year-old man, an 83-year-old man, and a 92-year-old woman. There is no information available on non-resident deaths.
The number of COVID-19 cases in Escambia district increased by 179 on Wednesday, which increased the cumulative total since the epidemic began to 7,429.
In Santa Rosa County, positive cases increased by 180, which increased the total there to 3125. After three deaths – the first death in several days – so far 22 people in Santa Rosa County died from complications of COVID-19.
The median age of a person with COVID-19 in both provinces is 38.
, 12% of 62,476 people tested in Escambia province and 13% of 24,797 people tested in Santa Rosa county were positive for COVID-19.
