
Police said a 12-year-old girl was struck by a stray bullet while riding in her aunt’s car on the western side of the city.
Hit the child in the arm.
Cleveland Police said the 31-year-old aunt got out of the car after she left a friend on W87 Street and Detroit Road and heard gunshots.
Auntie got back into the car and moved away, before she realized that her niece had been shot.
Auntie called the police from I-90 East on Lauren Road after she got a flat tire.
Police said the flat tire may have been caused by the shooting.
EMS has transferred the 12-year-old to the MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment. Her condition has not been released.
