A corpse was found in the lake where actress “Glee” Naya Rivera disappeared
The authorities said they believed Rivera, 33, had drowned in the lake.
The authorities showed that the surveillance video showed Rivera and her 4-year-old son parking and entering the boat dock in the entertainment district of Lake Peru 55 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles . She had experience boating on the lake.
After about three hours, the man who chartered a floating boat found the boy alone on him, wearing a life jacket. The boy told the investigators that he and his mother went swimming, and he got back on the boat but didn’t.
An adult life jacket was found in the boat, along with Rivera’s identity, and her car was still in the car park.
Authorities later said Rivera had sent a family member a photo of her son in front of a bay shortly before that day. Research efforts have focused on this area.
Rivera played the role of cheerleader Santana Lopez for six seasons on Fox’s “Glee” musical comedy.
If her death is announced, she will become the third major member of the show who dies in the 1930s.
Cory Monteth, one of the show’s pioneers, died on 31 in 2013 of a toxic blend of alcohol and heroin.
Superstar Mark Saling, who at some point dated Rivera, participated in 2018 at the age of 35 after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
