Police said three people, including a nine-year-old, were shot in Atlanta.
News sources reported that the shooting took place in East Atlanta village around 9:30 pm.
Atlanta police officer Anthony Grant said officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the back.
Witnesses told the police that more people were killed during the accident. A 9-year-old man and boy were later found in hospital. The man was hit in the hand and the boy was shot in the legs.
The police said the three victims were expected to live. The police believe an argument leads to the shooting. There were no suspects in custody.
The shooting follows the shooting of Secoria Turner, 8, who was killed at the end of the fourth week of July in Atlanta. Four other people were killed over the weekend, prompting Georgia State Governor Brian Kemp to declare a state of emergency and deploy up to 1,000 National Guard soldiers.
