US President Donald Trump’s election campaign said that medical examinations demonstrated that six members of the campaign had Covid-19 disease, ahead of an election conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“Six of the team members have been tested,” said Tim Morto, campaign director of communications for the campaign.
He added, “Employees who are infected with covid or any direct contact with them will not be present at today’s conference, or near those present or elected officials.
Trump is scheduled to hold an election conference attended by thousands of his supporters in Tulsa in an attempt to revitalize his campaign to re-elect him as President of the United States. Oklahoma is one of the states that have seen a rise in confirmed cases of Covid-19.
