Nine firefighters were taken to hospital after combating a fire that broke out on a ship in Jacksonville, Florida, with explosions.
Local media reported that the ship, a Norwegian called “Huij Xiamen”, was carrying old and used cars and was scheduled to leave Jacksonville.
More than 20 crew members on board the ship were able to get off safely before the blasts, said Keith Powers, head of the Jacksonville Fire Department.
