British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced the easing of the general isolation measures imposed to contain the Coronavirus starting next week.
Johnson said at a press conference that the England authorities will allow up to six people to gather outside the homes and schools will be gradually reopened from next Monday.
He added that retailers and car showrooms will be able to resume their activities from Monday, but he cautioned that the changes are “small experimental steps forward.
Health experts said the situation was balanced with a lower number of new infections, but it was not improving at a rapid pace.
The prime minister is facing criticism over his handling of the epidemic, which prompted Britain to record the second highest death toll in the world.
