New York State Governor Andrew Como said in a press briefing that the number of countries that reported cases of rare inflammatory syndrome associated with Covid-19 disease and infecting children had increased to nearly double in the past week to 13 countries.
Como added that New York, which has taken the lead in tracking syndrome called multiple-inflammatory syndrome among children in the United States, is one of 25 US states that have reported cases of infection.
