Pensacola fishing sports comes back

Pensacola, fl

Pensacola Sports will continue its Reel it in America, Fishing for a Cause through four weeks, which will include popular fishing time periods, Memorial Day weekend and Father’s Day weekend.

The virtual fishing tournament will contain five categories with registration fees from $20-$200. Anglers are required to submit photo and/or video depending on the species.

Part of each entry fee goes towards prizes for top winners, and will also contribute to Disabled American Veterans, an organization helping veterans impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Anglers may submit as many fish as they catch to their registered fish category throughout the tournament. Catches can be submitted at www.ReelitinAmerica.com,

And anglers can win only once per fish category in which they are registered.

To compete, anglers must live along the Gulf Coast of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana or Texas.

The tournament begins at midnight May 22 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT June 21.

The tournament overlaps with the Pensacola Sports Bud Light Fishing Rodeo. Register for the Fishing Rodeo at pensacolasports.org.

Over the last four weeks, Reel it in America gave anglers of all ages the opportunity to compete, said Ray Palmer, president and CEO of Pensacola Sports.

We are excited to continue that and invite more anglers to join the new four-week-long tournament
