California Governor Gavin Newsome has announced that state authorities will tighten procedures to compel residents to apply general restrictions imposed due to the Corona virus, as large crowds of people pour onto beaches.
Newsome, during a press conference, showed pictures documenting large crowds of people on the shores of Orange and Ventura, saying these scenes represents what we shouldn’t see at this time.
The only thing that will take us back to the previous situation is our behavior, and only such actions can hinder our capabilities to open up the economy,” he added.
In this context, he indicated that the state authorities will tighten the follow-up of people’s commitment to public restrictions, especially measures of social separation.
In California, there were 43,772 confirmed cases of coronavirus, including 1718 deaths
