The Society of Genetic Engineers in Jordan has published part of a study under study explaining the resistance of coronal bodies to the Coronavirus, unlike Western countries
Association President Ramzi Fouda said in a statement that Corona is a cold and peace to the Arabs of the Middle East.
He based his speech on a research under study by the association, under the supervision of Walid Al-Zyoud, Hazem Haddad and their team, which was presented as part of a research for the scientific research fund at the Ministry of Higher Education in Jordan.
The research says that Middle Eastern Arabs possess genetics SNPS, a variation in single-nucleotide polymorphism that differs from East Asia and Europe, which enables their bodies to easily combat the virus.
He explained that the pulmonary cell in Middle East Arabs possesses “ACЕ 2” less by 1 to 1000 for East Asian and European societies according to the results on “BIoinformatics”, meaning that the virus depends on receptors present on the surface of the pulmonary cell “ACE 2”
The research gave an example if one virus was associated in a lung cell from a person of Arab Middle Eastern origin, the lung cell of a person from East Asia or Europe would have 1000 viruses associated with it, and thus the immune system would resist the lowest number of associated virus with ease.
The research, according to the president of the Jordanian Society, was based on the fact that the influenza virus in East Asia and Europe is sometimes fatal, and in Arab Middle Eastern societies it is considered an ordinary disease for the same reason.
It was also based on Israeli statistics compared to the West Bank population of Arab origins, as they live in the same environment and geographical location, and there is a large variation in cases and mortality rates, as the genetic material of the virus has not changed and record mutations.
It is noteworthy that the injuries of the Middle East region of Corona are the lowest in the world, according to the population. In Egypt, which has a population of 100 million people, the injuries so far do not exceed 3 thousand people, 1,000 of whom have been completely cured without medical intervention, while in Jordan with a population of approximately 12 million people The number of the injured does not exceed 400, and a quarter of them recovered without any medical intervention. The numbers of the injured vary in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Morocco.
